The HydroFlow 500 is a wind turbine driven hydrogen generator. It uses a vertical axis wind turbine to provide electricity for electrolysis of water, producing and storing hydrogen and oxygen gas.
The water tanks at the top of the diagram are to give a pressure head to the gas tanks. An alternative would be to use the VAWT to drive a compressor to provide a greater pressure to the gas tanks. |
